John the Baptist is Born and His dad bursts into a prophetic proclamation about what God is doing through Jesus Christ the Messiah who is coming into the world. Our Sermon walks us through this passage and the powerful happenings to come at Christ’s birth, life and death. Through our Salvation in Christ, God calls us to experience a deep lasting peace.

Joy

How many leave Jesus in the manger or forget Jesus brings joy to the world. How is it that we seem to loose our joy or can’t seem to get a handle on it? Joy is a word we use often but it’s meaning and application sort of floats around with no really purpose. We will take a deeper look at it as well as share some practical ways to make room for joy. We will also be reminded that: This season reminds us that joy and suffering are intertwined in the story of redemption, and indeed both often exist at that same time.
