Treasures in Leviticus, Yom Kippur (with Worship)

May 23, 2024 • Pastor Mac

The fourth of a series of five expositional style teachings diving into some of the riches that can be found in the book of Leviticus. This study will focus on The Day of Atonement discussing various aspects of the events that would take place in preparation for and during this most Holy Day, that was once revered by the children of Israel. We will examine various Scriptures in order to show the depth of sin, as well as look into some interesting facts that surround the Talmud that also point to Jesus, even though it is written by non-believing Jewish rabbis. In addition, this study will define atonement, look specially into the scapegoat, and show how these events all point to the finished work on the cross by Jesus Christ.
