We have enough cultural turmoil about us that if you want to go looking for a fight, you don't have far to look.  But what if you're not looking for a fight? What if you're merely minding your own business serving the Lord in your own way and controversy finds you?  The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (and the fiery furnace) is one that most of us know well.  But it is also a story that's especially relevant to followers of Jesus today.  As idols all around us demand our allegiance, many are looking on, watching what we will do and whom we will fear. As Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego find, their courage isn't as important as the one who is with them.
