What does it mean to lead like Jesus in a culture that prizes power, performance, speed, and scale?
This October, join us for a reading group exploring Rev. Dr. Nicole Martin's *Nailing It: Why Successful Leadership Demands Suffering and Surrender. * Guided by Upper House Commons Director Joy Fea, we’ll consider how the way of Jesus challenges many of our assumptions about success and invites us to lead with humility, sacrifice, and grace.
Martin argues that as our world changes, many traditional models of leadership need to be reexamined, creating space for the diverse gifts and perspectives God has entrusted to his people. Through guided discussion, we'll reflect on what faithful leadership looks like in our churches, workplaces, and communities, and how we can lead in ways that help others flourish.
This group will meet from 4:00–5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
October 20
October 27
November 3
November 10
