What comes to mind when you hear the word “Blessed”? For me, I think of blessings: The tangible value added to my life through good relationships & experiences.

But is that really what Jesus meant when he used this term on the Sermon on the Mount?

In typical Jesus fashion, He teaches a head-scratching, paradoxical view of reality - including what it really means to be Blessed.

Thankfully, Jesus’ version of what it means to be Blessed is going to be welcome news for many of us!
