Arts & Faith 2026

Beauty Through Brokenness

February 20, 7:30pm - February 22, 2026 10:15am

Join us for a weekend of art, reflection, and renewal with guest artists Eva Crawford, award-winning artist and Kintsugi Experience facilitator, and Eileen Wolfington, sound bath musician. The weekend begins Friday evening with a conversation with Eva Crawford and a wine and cheese reception. Saturday offers hands-on practices integrating mind, body, and spirit through a Kintsugi workshop, Qigong, and a sound bath (lunch and materials included). Broken items will be available to mend if you do not have one to bring.  The weekend concludes Sunday morning with “Art, Kintsugi, and Thin Places,” as Eva explores the connection between Kintsugi and Celtic thin places.

Kintsugi: The Kintsugi experience is a 3-hour mending process using modern materials.

Please bring a small piece to mend such as a chipped or broken cup, bowl, ceramic or wooden figure – no glass. An object with a particular memory attached is preferable. If you don’t have anything, then ask a friend. Try not to break something intentionally as we have enough broken things in this world. However, if you must break a small item, then please bring it to the experience to break there. All other materials are provided. There is no prerequisite of artistic experience.

$25 Fee for Saturday's workshop and luncheon. All materials are supplied and no artistic experience is required
