Ms Vega is a well known Historian in the area. She is a former AP History teacher with a degree in History from Washinton University and a Masters in Counseling from St. Louis University. She has given lectures at the Wednesday Club and Oasis and has lectured at the Missouri History Museum on the Civil War, George Washington, the history of St. Louis, Thomas Jefferson, Prohibition, Manifest Destiny Abraham Lincoln and many other American presidents and issues. She gives tours and lectures at the Lincoln Presidential Library and also volunteers there. Her expertise includes Les Amis and many other areas of local interest.

The three part series of The History of the Bible will include all aspects of choosing the particular books for the Bible. This March will focus on The Old Testament. Next season will discuss the forming of the New Testament.
