SUN. 10:00AM, KIDS BLDG, RM. 301. Is your child interested in being baptized? The first Sunday of every month we have a baptism class for the parents and child to attend together, to discuss what baptism is, what the Bible says about it, how and why we do it, and whether your child is ready to be baptized.

AGE REQUIREMENT:

We believe a child needs to understand repentance of sin and the public confession of their faith before getting baptized. While we have not prescribed an "age" to this happening, child development has guided us in only allowing kids who can read to take the baptism class (usually 1st grade and above). Until they can have comprehension, they usually cannot understand their profession. 

At CrossCity we required kids under 6th grade who would like to be baptized to take the Baptism Class offered the first Sunday of every month during the 9:15am service in Room 301. We ask families coming forward if their child has completed the class, and if not, they will need to attend the next class before being baptized.
