Mission Arlington (Summer Mission Trip 2025)

Join us for a unique mission that doesn't require leaving the country!

July 19, 1:00pm - July 25, 2025 2:00pm

Mission Arlington has been serving the community of Arlington, Texas 364 days a year for the last 37 years! Mission Arlington partners with local churches to conduct backyard Bible studies which over time often grows into church plants. In addition to the backyard Bible clubs, Mission Arlington has a metroplex used to serve a variety of ministry needs through free benevolent programs such as medical clinics, food pantries, afterschool tutoring, and more.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING

One Church will be partnering with Mission Arlington by leading evangelistic programs in the apartment communities and other neighborhoods where they have ministries. We will primarily be doing two things on this trip:

1. Rainbow Express. Rainbow Express is the name of the backyard Bible club we will be leading during the week. This may involve leading a Vacation Bible School program for kids in a neighborhood. Rainbow Express provides the curriculum, materials, and all necessary resources to run the program during our week of ministry.

2. Work Projects. We will be following Jesus' example of meeting both physical and spiritual needs to provide a tangible expression of the Father's love and people will be drawn to Him. This might include picking up donations, delivering furniture to families, working in the clothing room or the food warehouse, passing out flyers to invite people to an event, holding field days or other fun events in one of the apartment communities, or any number of other opportunities. Any special materials or training we may need will be provided while we are at Mission Arlington.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Mission Arlington will be providing lodging for our group during our stay. They partner with other organizations to provide space for our lodging. This could be a church, a gym, or unfinished apartment. There is no charge for us to stay during the week.
