Main Point: We will advance, Totally Dependent on Jesus: Find and protect your secret place with God and Praise and Worship with all you have in 2024. Intro recap: In 2024 we will advance as long as we stay totally dependent on Jesus. Advance individually, family, local church, the RGV. The evidence will be the tangible presence of God dwelling in the presence of true praise and worship The evidence will be signs and wonders that will bring glory to the Kingdom of God (Not man) What we can do individually to Advance 1. Protect your secret place with God (You and God alone when no one is watching) If you don’t have a secret place, it is VERY IMPORTANT YOU FIND IT AND PROTECT IT!!!!!! 2. In Church, come ready to praise and worship in spirit and in truth. ALL THAT YOU HAVE!!!!!! 3. Do not let any trial in life keep you from 1 & 2 What to expect as we Advance: Tangible presence of Jesus (The Holy Spirit) transforming our hearts to be desperate for him. Totally Dependent on Jesus. Signs and Wonders. Your prayer request supernaturally being answered to bring Glory to the Kingdom of God Take no Glory for the signs and wonders. All Glory and praise to King Jesus. His Word is truth so expect God’s Hand to move on your behalf (Signs and Wonders): Romans 8:28: All things work together for good for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:37: You are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens you Matthew 6:33: Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you 1 Corinthians 2:9: Eye has not seen nor ear heard what God has planned for his people. Who reaps these promises? Those who know God. Those with Faith. Hebrews 11:6: Faith pleases God Matthew 17:20-21: Faith the size of mustard seed, will move mountains Pastor’s Thoughts: Let your faith arise. When you ask for God to do signs and wonders and it does not happen, it is not because God has broken his promise. It is because God’s ways are higher than our ways. Trust during the storms; be totally dependent on Jesus and in God’s timing the victories will come. Who does not reap these promises? James 4:3: Those who ask amiss for selfish reasons. Summary: I look forward to advancing in 2024 being totally dependent on Jesus. I look forward to parking problems because there are too many cars for church I look forward to seating problems because there are too few seats for church That being said, if you gave me a choice between 150 people in this church but no tangible presence of God or 5 people in this church with the tangible presence of God. I will take 5 every time. Because it’s not about what we see with our eyes it is about the true worship in our hearts.

We will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus - Part 6 - Expect the Supernatural and Take No Glory

Main Point: We will advance, Totally Dependent on Jesus: Expect the Supernatural and take no Glory. Pastors Thoughts: I believe we are advancing into a season where God will show his supernatural hand to those He can trust. Those who will not take the glory. When these things begin to happen, expect the supernatural for the purpose of bringing Glory to God’s Kingdom People with a secret place with God: praise, worship, and pray in spirit and in truth People with a secret place with God: are totally be dependent on Jesus (desperate) People with a secret place with God: begin to step into their Calling (ok with being uncomfortable/stretched) Apostles begin to experience the supernatural in Jesus’ name: Acts 3:1-16. Peter heals the lame man in Jesus name. v6. Peter calls out the name of Jesus for healing v11. The people were looking to give Peter Glory for the healing v12-13. Peter refuses to take any glory for the healing and makes it clear that the name of Jesus healed this man. Acts 14:8-18. Paul heals a cripple man in Jesus name v11. The people wanted to give Paul Glory v14-18. Paul deflects the glory and gives it to God Do not worship the supernatural Colossians 2:18. (NIV). “Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions of their unspiritual mind. Do not worship the supernatural. Only Worship King Jesus. Renew your mind to only give Glory to King Jesus Renewing the mind because we will naturally try to take credit or Glory. Carnal mind wants Glory A call to Advance: As the church begins to be totally dependent on Jesus, signs and wonders will follow. The supernatural occurs for one reason, to bring Glory to God. He loves us. The trumpet is sounding to advance totally dependent on Jesus. The trumpet is a symbol of considerable consequence in the Old and New Testaments. In general, it can signify an alarm of war, a call to assemble, or a command to march (see Numbers 10:1-10). Summary: We are entering exciting time. God will advance His Kingdom through those who are totally dependent on Him. Signs and Wonders will occur through instruments God can trust. To King Jesus be all the Glory.

We will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus - Part 5 - Expect the Supernatural

Main Point: We will advance, Totally Dependent on Jesus: Expect the Supernatural. Intro: Last Week, we covered how as we Advance, totally dependent on Jesus; God will turn it around. Not only will God turn it around, God will do it with Power. Supernatural Power. Peter walked on Water: Matthew 14:22-33. Why? Did Peter already know that Jesus was God incarnate? Did Peter want to test this miracle out to make sure Jesus was God incarnate? Regardless what Peter was thinking? Outside of the Boat, Peter was totally dependent on Jesus. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was experiencing a supernatural event. Once he looked at the circumstances around him his faith was weakened. Pastor’s Thoughts: Don’t look at the circumstances around you. God will turn it around. And He will do it with supernatural power Once you are dependent on something else for your joy and peace, your faith is weakened. Let your faith arise, by being totally dependent on Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Be totally Dependent on Jesus and you will see God’s Supernatural Power in your circumstance. The Woman with the Issue of Blood. Luke 8:43-48. The woman tried everything until she had no other hope but one. The miracle worker was in town. The woman was totally dependent on Jesus. Desperation. Jesus was on his way to attend to an urgent situation but he stopped because he perceived great faith. Pastor’s Thoughts: Reach out to Jesus with great faith, with desperation. Jesus will stop and answer with supernatural power. Who touch me? Do not wait until your circumstance is unbearable. Cry out to Jesus and be totally dependent on His mighty name in all things. Wise is the man who is desperate for Jesus, before calamity falls. Examples of Supernatural Intervention: Miracle of the grocery bags Miracle of the Food Bank Finance Miracle of the Sign Miracle of the Community Center Miracle of Church Finance Miracle of a Soul Saved by Daniel ? And many more to come. Summary: Advance, be totally dependent on Jesus like Peter and the Woman with the issue of blood Expect to see God’s supernatural power in your circumstance God will turn it around and He will do it supernaturally. Be desperate for Jesus to be Lord of your life. You will see amazing things in God’s perfect timing.

We will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus - Part 4 - God Will Turn it Around

Main Point: In 2024 we will advance totally dependent on Jesus. Like Moses we don’t want to take another step if God is not with us. We will trust and let our faith arise that our God will turn it around. Let’s Advance. Let us not be dependent on our own understanding and our own abilities Not every good idea is Gods’ idea. Lord, we want to know you. Lord, we want to be close to you. So, we can have clarity on your will for our lives. Pastor’s Thoughts: Not another step without you Lord. Lord let us see clearly that we can’t take anything with us. You are all we need. Advance, Totally Dependent on Jesus. Trust and let your faith arise that He will turn it around. He will turn it around: Acts 12:5-17. Sometimes God turns it around quickly While the followers of Jesus were still praying the answer came. John 11:21-44. Sometimes God turns it around later than we would like (story of Lazarus) v25. Jesus is the resurrection and the life Jesus is never late (He is never late with your prayers as well) v39. Martha states what she sees in the carnal Jesus is not limited to what we see or think is possible. v41. Jesus already knew Lazarus was alive v42. Jesus wanted to make sure the people saw the Glory of God through the Messiah Pastor’s Thoughts: These scriptures we just read all confirm that we serve a God that will turn it around for His People In 2024, we will advance, totally dependent on Jesus. God hears your prayer request for your unsaved loves ones healing financial miracle God will turn it around. It is done. Trust that his ways are better than ours. What we need to keep constant in our hearts is to pray and trust Jesus until our last breath. Our faith is not dependent on what we see with our eyes Our faith is dependent on God’s truth in His Word. Summary: We are all on this journey of faith and trust. God will turn it around. The more we know God, the more we can see the victory ahead The key to knowing God personally is to find and protect your secret place with God (when you and God are alone) Psalm 91:1. Psalm 91:11. God sends his angels to those who have a secret place

Main Point: In 2024, we will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus. Every little thing we can do to advance spiritually for God’s Kingdom is important. Scriptures on being totally dependent on Jesus: Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust the Lord with all your heart, not you’re understanding and he will direct your path. If we are not totally dependent on Jesus, our path will not be clear, (no peace, no direction) Proverbs 16:9. We can plan but ultimately God directs our steps. Pastor’s Thoughts: In 2024 we will advance totally dependent on Jesus If we are carrying strongholds (bags and backpacks, sin), we must be willing to drop them and look to Jesus for all things. I believe that 2024 is a breakthrough year, where the church (you and me), drop everything that we think is important and we become totally dependent on Jesus. We will Advance Story of Gideon The supernatural part of the story of Gideon is not that he conquered his enemy with only 300 men. That is supernatural, but it is the events before this that set the foundation for Advancement Judges 6. The events in Chapter 6 were the foundation of Gideons victory over the Midianites V1-6. The Midianites were destroying God’s people. V7. Some Jewish people cried out to the Lord. V8-10. God responds to the cry from the Israelites V11-14. God chooses Gideon and Gideon ask God for a sign V15. Gideon sees himself as unworthy. (if you see yourself as unworthy to great things for God’s Kingdom, then you are just what God needs) V16. God confirms to Gideon that He will be with him V17-21. Gideon again asks for confirmation V22. Gideon is ready to advance, and be totally dependent on God. V23-27. Gideon is obedient and knocks down the alters to other Gods and replaces it with an alter to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. V28-30. The people are angry at Gideon because what they were depending on was destroyed. V31-32. Joash, Gideons father tells the people that if Baal is real, he can defend himself against Gideon. V33. Midianites gather around the Israelites for war V34-40. Gideon prepares for war. Judges 7:18-23. The victory is won with 300 men. Pastor’s Thoughts: The supernatural part of the story of Gideon is not that he conquered the enemy with only 300 men. That is supernatural, but it is the events before this that set the foundation for Advancement A cry out to the Lord by the Israelites Someone willing to Advance, totally dependent on God. Get of rid of idols and all darkness that stands against the righteousness of God Wait on the Lord’s timing Advance, totally dependent on God.

We will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus - Part 2

Main Point: In 2024, we will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus. Every little thing we can do to advance spiritually for God’s Kingdom is important. God has chosen us: Isaiah 43:6-7. God created us for His Glory. As children of God we are destined to bring Glory to the name of Jesus. As long as we have breathe in our lungs we are instruments God wants to use to bring him Glory. There are no exceptions We are created By Him and For Him: Colossians 1:16-17. All things are created to bring Glory to God This is why mankind is empty when they try to satisfy their hearts with sinful things. We were created by Him and for Him. We are all important: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. Every one of us is as important as anyone else in the body of Christ. Acts 10:34-35. God is no respecter of person. All who fear the Lord belong to the Kingdom with rights as Sons and Daughters of the most High God. God looks at the heart, not a title or position. Do what you can to advance: 1 Peter 1:10. Do what you can no matter how small it may seem to advance the Kingdom. Invite someone to an event invite someone to church Invite someone to pray with you

We Will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus - Part 1

Main Point: In 2024, we will Advance Totally Dependent on Jesus. When we are totally dependent on Jesus we will see a supernatural advancement of Gods Kingdom in our lives, our church, our city, etc… Totally dependent on Jesus. Not on our skills and abilities. Only Jesus. Not on our wisdom or knowledge. Only Jesus Not on our understanding. Only Jesus. Every miracle needed, every lost soul we are praying for, every unanswered prayer; every hurt; every stronghold that needs to be broken. We are totally dependent on Jesus and in the Power found in His name. Moses Totally Dependent on God: Exodus 33:12-15. Moses understood he was totally dependent on God and did not want to take a step without God being with him. The Children of Israel advanced into the promise land. Esther Totally Dependent on God: Esther 4:16. Esther understood that her decision to approach the King meant her life was totally dependent on God. The Children of Israel advanced into God’s perfect plan. Peter Totally Dependent on Jesus: Acts 16:23-34. Peter and Silas were totally dependent on Jesus for their life. Peter advanced into God’s perfect will and many souls were saved. Lazarus and his family totally Dependent on Jesus: John 11:38-46. Lazarus and his family and friends thought it was too late but Jesus is never late. Even death had to bow at the name of Jesus. Jesus advanced into his destiny and rose from the dead to redeem the world from sin. Pastor’s thoughts: Even if you think it is too late; it is never over until God says it’s over. Be totally dependent on Jesus. And as we advance God’s Kingdom in our lives, in our church, in our families in 2024; it will be because we are trusting and totally dependent on Jesus and in the Power found in His name. I believe this year, 2024, we are going to see God do some extraordinary, supernatural, things. The ground work has been laid down and if God’s people are ready to be totally dependent on Jesus, Then 2024 will be a year of supernatural advancement of righteousness in our city, our region, our families I’m expecting God to do big things in your life, in our church, in our city, in the RGV. The only thing we have to make sure of to see God’s Kingdom advanced supernaturally is to make sure we are totally dependent on Jesus. How? Build off of 2023. True Praise and Worship of King Jesus Find and protect your secret place with God In 2024 add. Your commitment to be totally dependent on Jesus in all things in 2024 The more you fall in love with Jesus the easier it is.
