Mission of God offers an opportunity to learn firsthand what God is doing around the world. Over 8 weeks, you’ll discover a new framework for global mission, grow in your understanding of why God is passionate about His name being known in every corner of the world, and gain practical tools to make disciples. Topics include the history of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

Jeff Lewis is the Mobilization & Discipleship Specialist for Sixteen:Fifteen and founder/director of Thirteen~FiftyTwo. He served as assistant professor of Intercultural Studies for 18 years and as director of Mobilization for 4 years at California Baptist University. He also co-founded and co-directed Passion Conference (1996–2000) and is the author of God’s Heart for the Nations, Christ’s Love Compels Me, and Calling: A Scriptural Journey.
Jeff has over 36 years of experience in mobilization and disciple-making ministries, having trained indigenous leaders and consulted mission personnel in over 30 countries. He and his wife Elaine have 7 adult children and 20 grandchildren.

Charles is the Lead Pastor of Tapestry LA Church. After experiencing God’s transforming grace, he earned his Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary and has spent over 20 years preaching and shepherding with a passion to see lives changed by the Gospel. Charles and his wife Grace have three children. In his free time, he enjoys following the Lakers and Dodgers. His deepest desire is to proclaim the glory of God and lead others to live Spirit-driven lives.

James is the Discipleship Pastor at Tapestry LA. Born into a pastor’s family, he also sensed call into ministry at a young age and completed his theological education at Biola University (B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies) and Talbot School of Theology (M. Div). James and his wife Elisa have one child, Harper, and currently live in Downtown Los Angeles. In their free time, they enjoy watching Korean-dramas and visiting new coffee shops. They are passionate about the local church and hope to serve faithfully.
