In Paul’s final words to the church of Thessalonica, he teaches that in order to have peace within themselves and with each other, they must first have the peace of God. That’s a needed reminder for us too. Peace is an elusive commodity in the world we live in, and if we truly want everlasting peace, there is only one place to turn.
