In Ruth, we find a woman named Naomi who lost all she had in her life. All those that were important to her had perished. Except one, a daughter-in-law who later continued the line of David, Solomon, and Jesus. It’s a story of faith, loyalty and great romance.

How much does God love us - to what depths will He descend to reach us with his love? We have a picture of God’s love in the Book of Ruth. There was a law in Israel that allowed from someone along with their property to be redeemed. This law of the kinsman redeemer had certain elements that had to be met for there to be redemption. This law is applied by Boaz to redeem Ruth.
