Faith can be a big thing to explain to your kids, and they may have questions along the way. Guiding children to take those first steps of faith can be the most rewarding opportunity for a parent or grandparent. No decision is as life changing or eternal as the decision to become a Christian. Given the importance of this decision, we would like to invite you and your child to be a part of the Next Gen Baptism Classes. We want to equip you and your child on this journey to follow Christ. Please make plans to attend. This will be a valuable time for both you and your child. We will cover important information about what it means to be a Christian. It is a relaxed atmosphere, and we will have fun! Plus, a kid-friendly breakfast will be served. Student Worship Center - Kids (1st - 5th) at 8:45 - 10:15 a.m. - Students (6th - 12th) at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Contact Kelli Brent (mailto:kbrent@tbclife.net) for more information.
Deuteronomy 6:7-9 commands parents to teach their children the truths of God as a part of daily living. 2 Timothy 3:15 verifies the importance of teaching children these truths beginning at an early age. By participating in Family Commitment, you are committing yourself to rear your child under the principles of the Bible and teach your child the truths of the Lord. This type of rearing will come as a direct result of your personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You are also acknowledging that the child ultimately belongs to God and that He has a purpose and plan for that new life. Family Commitment is offered during both the 9 and 10:30 a.m. worship services, on select dates. First-time participants are asked to attend an orientation class as well. Please use the link below to register.
