[Holidays & Holy Days]

March 27, 2024 • Allen Jackson

God values holidays, so we should, too. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the importance of holidays in the Bible. God instructed the Jewish people to observe three annual holidays: Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles. They stopped their daily lives to mark these holy days, worship God, and recount stories of God’s faithfulness. Observing these holidays helped keep their faith central to their lives, even though the Jewish people had no homeland for over 2,000 years. In a similar way, it’s important to celebrate Christmas and Easter and remember all God accomplished for us on those significant holidays. Taking time to mark the holidays helps strengthen our faith and builds a legacy of faith for our families to carry forward.
