We meet on Tuesday mornings and take a deep dive into the Bible! This is a class designed to move at the pace of the Holy Spirit. Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church's Chancel Choir gathers weekly at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary for a transformative and enriching rehearsal led by the talented director, Lee Lee. This weekly musical gathering serves as a dedicated space for passionate singers within the congregation to come together in harmony. Under Lee Lee's expert guidance, the Chancel Choir delves into a diverse repertoire, encompassing traditional hymns, contemporary pieces, and perhaps even special arrangements tailored for upcoming worship services or events. The sanctuary resonates with the collective voices of choir members, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. The rehearsal is not only an opportunity to refine vocal techniques but also a time for spiritual connection and fellowship among choir members. Lee Lee fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, allowing each singer to contribute to the collective beauty of the music. Join us for a powerful and contemplative Good Friday Tenebrae Service at Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church at 7 PM. Tenebrae, meaning "darkness" or "shadows," is a service that leads us through the final moments of Jesus' life, reflecting on His crucifixion and the immense love He demonstrated through His sacrifice. Through Scripture readings, hymns, and the gradual extinguishing of candles, we will enter into the sorrow and darkness of the cross, preparing our hearts for the hope of Easter. This solemn service invites all to remember Christ's suffering and death, as we hold space for reflection and prayer in the shadow of the cross.
