Ash Wednesday is a Christian religious holiday observed yearly, 46 days before Easter Sunday. It is the first day of the Lenten season, a time of self-examination, fasting and abstinence, penitence, and prayer for observant Christians. It is the beginning of the season of Lent.

We will be offering two Ash Wednesday worship services on March 5th – one at Noon in the Chapel of the Cross and one at 6:00 PM in the Celebration Center. Each service will include Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes. The service will last 30-40 minutes.

Please plan to join us at one of these reflective and meaningful services. We encourage children to go to service with their families. Children and youth programming will begin after Ash Wednesday service.
