Cove Youth Retreat
May 16 - 19, 2025 PDT
I am very excited to let you know that we have our annual Youth retreat planned on the 16th-19th May for our young people at Cove Youth! (Grade 8-12)
We went to Manning Park on retreat last year and it was AMAZING! 🔥
We will be going deeper in our relationship with God- worshiping/praying together and spending time in/reflecting on God’s word as a group! This will also be a time where we grow together- we will have lots of time doing group activities and lots of outside recreational things!
I really want to encourage all of our young people to come along to this retreat- I believe this weekend will be significant for us all!
The retreat is at Manning Park Resort.
Our amazing team of youth leaders will be driving the young people to Manning Park, so you will only need to drop them off at church after school on Friday 16th and pick up at church on Monday 19th. (Exact times to be decided closer to the date)
I will also let you know items to bring (bedding etc) closer to the date too.
The cost for this retreat will be $180- This includes all the accommodation, food and travel costs. The only others cost would be spending money for your child/children. We understand for some this may not be affordable, and we never want finances to be the reason why our young people cannot attend an event. So please do let me know if you need any financial support to help your child/children attend this event!

I am so excited and expectant for this weekend- that God is going to do incredible things in the lives of our young people, and build us up together in new and greater ways as a group- I hope you child/children can make it!

I understand that participation in the described program is voluntary, and involves inherent risk during participation, including the risk of possible accidents, physical injury, or exposure to the COVID-19 virus or other infections or infectious diseases as a result of attending events, meetings and activities. I have carefully considered the risks involved, and I have full confidence that reasonable precautions and protocols will be taken and/or implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of my child/children.
I understand the inherent risks of possible accidents, physical injuries and disease transmission that could arise from these activities, and I grant permission for my child/children to participate. I therefore acknowledge and understand that the Bridge Church and its staff/volunteers are not to be held responsible for any accident and/or physical injury arising from my child/children’s participation in the described activity.
I understand that in the unlikely event of a fire or emergency situation, the Bridge Youth Team will follow established emergency procedures to ensure the safety of my child and I will be notified as soon as possible if an event like this happens.
I understand that every care will be taken to ensure the health, safety and welfare of my child. In the unlikely event of my child needing emergency medical treatment I give permission for the leaders to authorise any urgent medical treatment recommended by a doctor, on my behalf. I understand that I will be notified as soon as possible if this authority is exercised.
