We leave on our journey with expectations of when and how we will get there. Then detours disrupt our plan. We could stop in protest or keep moving forward trusting that someone knows something that we don’t. Today in Acts 8 Pastor Brandon shares that In the same way, God knows the best route to your destiny. What has surprised you has not surprised God. God is not surprised by the detour, nor is He surprised by the difficulty.

Peace is escape from the problems and troubles of life. The problem is that you can be in the most beautiful place and still be filled with worry, fear, and anxiety. You can live in a new home, drive a brand new car, just stepped into a new promotion at work and still have no peace. Peace is not everything always working out the way we want it to. Peace is not the absence of problems. Peace is the presence of God.
