The Scourge of Human Trafficking: Modern Day Slavery at its Worst - Part 2

August 21, 2022 • Guests: Janelle Esbenshade, Megan Fulmer

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guests Janelle Esbenshade (North Star Initiative) and Megan Fulmer (Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist in Sex Trafficking and Exploitation) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.

Whether for the exploitation for labor purposes or the purposes of sexual exploitation when it comes to the human slave trade, there are common characteristics. For the exploited slave, there is no liberty, there is bondage. There is no freedom, there is a total control of choice and expectation. For the exploited slave where the master holds no fear of God and places no sacred value on life; there is hopelessness, pain, and misery of all types.

Jesus warned the would be masters of His day to beware that they did not lead a child astray or keep them from the truth for it would be better if a heavy stone was chained around their neck and they were drowned in the sea. The eternal judgment against all the use and abuse slave trade masters will be severe and the wrath of God will be felt in that day.

In our day, Jesus came to bring hope, salvation, and a new life forgiven and restored.

AI, Technology, & The Christian

April 21, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Patricia Engler

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Patricia Engler (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. While the technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was seemingly birthed just months ago, as a concept or goal it was not. In fact, the ambition to create and advance a technology with such presence as to be global, with such power as to be individually personal and accessible, and with such responsiveness so as to be instantaneous and controllable by a few global elite is not at all new. How should Christians respond to AI?  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “AI, Technology, & The Christian”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.

Blessed is the Man

April 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms.  It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death.  Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today.  It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man.  Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.
