Most people long for freedom. Few (if any) choose tyranny and bondage. Yet as William Penn and other American Founders identified, those who refuse to voluntarily submit themselves to the 10 Commandments will ultimately experience the heavy hand of tyranny.
In this program we’ll address the importance of good laws requiring good lawmakers. Later in the program we’ll discuss good and just government requiring the understanding that leaders operate as God’s servants or ministers as identified in Romans 13.

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms. It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death. Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today. It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man. Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.
