The Scourge of Human Trafficking: Modern Day Slavery at its Worst - Part 1

August 14, 2022 • Guests: Janelle Esbenshade, Megan Fulmer

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guests Janelle Esbenshade (North Star Initiative) and Megan Fulmer (Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist in Sex Trafficking and Exploitation) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.

The scourge of modern-day slavery is most notably in the form of human trafficking and is nothing short of incredibly evil. The fact that tens of thousands of people are caught in the trap of sexual exploitation where someone literally ‘owns’ the body of another to do with as they see fit should be abhorrent to all people.

Yet, according to the numbers this slave trade is growing. It is lucrative to the slave owners ranking in financial size only to the worldwide military industrial complex and the illegal drug trafficking cartels.

This blood money comes at a high price to the lives of the victims who according to the research once someone becomes an official part of this slave trade, their life expectancy is reduced to a short 7 years!

How can this evil slave trade of human trafficking happen in the land of the free and home of the brave? That is one question we’ll answer in today’s program.

AI, Technology, & The Christian

April 21, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Patricia Engler

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Patricia Engler (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. While the technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was seemingly birthed just months ago, as a concept or goal it was not. In fact, the ambition to create and advance a technology with such presence as to be global, with such power as to be individually personal and accessible, and with such responsiveness so as to be instantaneous and controllable by a few global elite is not at all new. How should Christians respond to AI?  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “AI, Technology, & The Christian”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.

Blessed is the Man

April 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms.  It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death.  Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today.  It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man.  Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.
