Friday June 20, @ 7p.m.– Saturday June 21, @ 9:30 p.m. Who? Any Jr. High student that would like to attend. We have very limited space on this trip and can only accommodate 8 guys and 8 girls or whatever breakdown leads to about 16 kids. Please sign up right away to reserve your space. What? This year we are doing something a little closer to home that hopefully gets more kids involved and is more friendly on the wallet. We will be gathering for a Lock-In where we will enjoy a night of food, movies, games, and hopefully a little bit of sleep. Saturday morning, we will have breakfast at the church, clean up and head out for lunch at Steak and Shake and a day at Deep River Water Park. After a fast food dinner, we will all go see a movie at the AMC Theater together before coming back to the church. When? We will be gathering at Living Springs at 7pm on Friday June20. We will be coming back on Saturday June 21 around 9 p.m. We will call to let you know if times change on Saturday, as it is only an estimated time, dependent on movie times. Where? Living Springs Community Church. Guys and Girls will sleep in separate rooms. What do I need? We are asking those who come to bring a pillow and sleeping bag and any toiletries you will need, along with your pajamas and clothes for the weekend. Plan on having your swimsuits (Please no bikinis) and towels as well as a plastic bag for the trip home with you. As we will change before heading to the movies. Each person to bring a snack item to share with the group Friday night. How Much? The Grand total for this trip is $115. This covers Friday pizza, breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday, admission to the waterpark, admission to the movie theater, and gas there and back. If your student wants to bring extra money for snacks at the waterpark or movies, they are more than welcome to. How will we get around? As of now we are planning on driving 1 Church van and a couple of leaders cars. What do I need to do to sign up? We need to know if you are coming very soon, so that we can prepare for the night. The sign up slip (found in packet) and a Liability Release form (if I don’t have one already on file) along with you $115 cash or check will be due on June 1. (please make checks out to Living Springs.) Don’t forget to bring extra $ for snacks Hard copies of the packet are available at the welcome center or in the youth room. They are also available for print on our website.
