Women are phenomenal, we carry a lot and we do a lot. We are often seen as the glue that holds everything together. With that expectation, there is a lot of pressure to be the helper, the fixer, the strong one, the nurturer. Although we can and will do it all, it can actually become exhausting and not sustainable. We end up settling with just surviving in life and our identity is fractured in the process.

Inner Strength doesn’t come from doing it all, it comes from having a strong identity. It comes from knowing who you are and what you need, and learning to walk that out in love. We can be women that are strong as steel but also as soft as velvet.

At the Rise Up Women’s Event, we will have guest speaker, Jolie Perez, whose mission in life is to help as many people as possible to LIVE rather than merely exist. We are all made for great things.
