The Call of God
November 19, 2023 • Chris Heller • Mark 10:46–52, 1 Samuel 16:1–11, 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, Luke 19:1–10, 1 Samuel 3
This Sunday will be our last sermon in the book of Mark before taking a break for the holiday season and Christmas series. We’ve noted that the book of Mark is divided into three sections, each section transitioning with a story of a blind man. Join us this week as Jesus not only calls for the blind man, but asks Him a question we’d all long to hear from our Savior, “What do you want me to do for you?” If you find yourself wishing for ‘the Call of God’ or wanting to know ‘the Will of God’, join us this week!
YAHWEH
March 13, 2022 • Chris Heller • Exodus 3:1–14, Exodus 4:1–17, Judges 6:24, Ezekiel 48:35, 1 Samuel 17:45–48
Join us as we travel back to the burning bush and hear Moses ask the God of the universe, “If they ask me 'what is his name?', what shall I say to them?" God replies to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” If you have ever felt called by God to do something for him, yet pulled by the temptation to run from that call in fear, join us for a great encouragement from the name, YAHWEH!
