Since its inception in 2001, The Refuge has been dedicated to empowering the youth of our city. In 2010, we took a significant step forward by acquiring a 25,000 sq ft facility, transforming it into a vibrant hub for our youth. With a skate park, dance studio, drama department, art studio, and automotive shop, we’ve created a dynamic environment where young people can explore their passions and talents.

Now, we are excited to announce our next ambitious project: a state-of-the-art 35,000 sq ft building that will enhance our ministries with sports facilities and a middle school specifically designed for "at-risk" youth. The Refuge is committed to providing a safe haven for teenagers in our community, encouraging them to dream big, embrace challenges, and grow into their best selves.

Our mission goes beyond just activities; we aim to equip teens with essential life skills, such as healthy coping mechanisms, a strong work ethic, compassion, empathy, and a solid foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that through these initiatives, we can rescue a lost generation, helping them to see that failure is not the end but a vital stepping stone to success.
