Part 4: Prophetic Prayers
November 20, 2022 • Tiana Spencer • Ruth 4
In the final message of our Ruth series, we find ourselves at the end of a famine. The lives of these two powerful women have been restored, and we get a glimpse into a beautiful scene of community as people begin to pray blessings over Ruth and Naomi, thanking God for his provision and faithfulness. These prayers tell us a story of who God was to them amid a season of grief and sorrow, and it also shows us who God is to us as we navigate seasons of our own. Because this may be the end of Ruth and Naomi's story, but for some of us, we're still in the middle of ours. Part 3: Our Role in Redemption
November 13, 2022 • Hannah Helwege • Ruth 3
God has made way for us to experience real restoration in our lives, but it requires something of us. We all have a role to play in the greater story He's writing, but how we respond is up to us. As we continue to look at the faith of Ruth and Naomi, we see the question we're faced with is not, will God show up? It's, will we? Part 2: Famine to Fullness
November 6, 2022 • Rachel Ceballos • Ruth 2
Last week we heard a powerful word about enduring the famines in our lives, but trusting God can be extremely hard when we don't know all the plans he has for us. The lack of control can feel scary, and we can find ourselves asking, Where is God right now? But it's through our endurance we begin to see the beautiful tapestry God's been weaving in our lives this whole time. Part 1: Faithful in Famine
October 30, 2022 • Becky White • Ruth 1
We're starting our new series on the book of Ruth. Over the next 4 weeks, we'll journey through her entire story examining God's provision, restoration, and faithfulness to the people who put their trust in Him. Pastor Becky will be kicking us off this Sunday by setting the scene of where this story is taking place and exploring the areas of our lives where famines exist. Areas where there's a clear gap between what we were created to need, the lack of it in our lives, and the amazing way God meets us right there in the middle. https://madeforfellowship.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/22-ruth-godeeper.pdf
