This is a class for anyone wanting to grow in their relationship with God and get to know some other CLC members. We will meet each Sunday at 9a in the Community Room to go through John Mark Comer's amazing book called Practicing the Way: Be with Jesus. Become Like Him. Do as He Did. This book is a compelling and accessible guide to following Jesus through intentional spiritual disciplines like prayer, meditating on Scripture, serving, worship and others as ways to position ourselves to grow closer to God and to hear His voice more clearly. Whether you’re looking to hang out with friends, meet new people, or plan a unique date night, these upcoming swing dance outings are the perfect way to spend an evening and have fun. Our Spring Lineup: Friday March 20: Swing Dance with Swell Band at Colvin Run Dance Hall (Great Falls, VA) Friday April 17: Swing Dance at Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department (Arlington, VA) Saturday May 30: Swing Dance with The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra at Glen Echo Park (Glen Echo, MD) New to Swing Dancing? No partner? No experience? No problem! Each event kicks off with a beginner-friendly lesson, so no experience or partner is necessary. Are you looking to connect with other families? Andrew and Megan Hendela will be hosting a monthly family game night at their house in Annandale. They will have a variety of games for all different ages. This will be a great opportunity to build relationships, have fun, and get our kids to play together so parents can have some adult time. We have an Outreach event on Saturday, April 4th at 9:30AM at Arlington Food Assistance Center! AFAC is Arlington's largest food distribution center. We will help sort and pack donations for those in need. We would love for you to join us! Please wear close toe shoes and a hair covering (hat, scarf, etc). We have 15 spots available each month for volunteers! Register above.
