The "Come As You Are" (CAYA) Young Adult Ministry is a gathering of twenty & thirty somethings is focused on community and growing in scripture together. Each week, you’ll have a safe space to gather and grow - no matter where you are in your faith journey! CAYA meets every Wednesday in the Co-Working space (building 200) at the church. Each Wednesday, Cumberland hosts an online prayer meeting at Noon. This time of prayer not only keeps us connected from wherever we are, but it also practices one of the key principals of our faith - an agreement in prayer. Join us every Wednesday to pray!
If you have recently accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life and demonstrated that through Baptism, then this course is for you! This 5-session class introduces new believers to basic principles and elements of the Christian faith, helping you explore what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. All material will be provided for all those who participate - including a study book and a new study Bible! CLASS DATES - April 6 - April 13 - April 27 - May 4 - May 11
If you’ve recently placed your faith in Jesus, then baptism might be the next step for you! Baptism is a demonstration of worship for those who place their faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes our willingness to join Jesus in His death - so that we may also join Him in resurrection to new life! The Prayer Closet is a night of prayer and worship where we gather to soak in God's presence and learn how to pray and sing to our Lord without inhibition. There is no set agenda. We are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to direct the flow. We come with a preparedness to pour out our hearts and dive into an amazing time of warring, confessing, thanksgiving, and praising our King!
This series has been SO GOOD! In our final session, we'll do a bit of summarizing, give families an opportunity to talk together, and discuss some tools for online digital safety as we go into Summer. --- Non-Toxic is a 3-part sexual integrity conversation for Middle & High-Schoolers and their parents. Elevate High School and Encounter Middle School Ministries will collaborate for 3 sessions to lead students and their parents in a series of conversations about sexual integrity. We'll provide students and families with Biblical principles and solutions for having "the talk,” dating, and creating boundaries. THREE SESSIONS: - Jan 26 - Mar 30 - May 4
