This March, we're excited to serve at Norton Park Elementary! Join us as we take a Saturday AND Sunday to worship together *outside* our church walls! Since its construction in 1961, Norton Park Elementary has evolved through decades of renovations and additions, reflecting 65 years of growth in the Smyrna community. Located just over a mile from our campus, Norton Park is truly part of our neighborhood. Our partnership spans more than a decade, and we’re thrilled to continue supporting them through Faith In Action!
Women of Cumberland, this is your place to be seen, loved, and known, as you grow with other women in faith and community. This Spring, join us Monday evenings or Thursday mornings for a study of the women in the Bible. We'll work through Colleen Searcy's study, The Stories of Women. Same study, two times available... - Every-Other Monday Evening, 7:00-8:30 pm: - Every Thursday morning, 10:00-11:30 am You'll need to purchase the book, The Stories of Women, by Colleen D. Searcy (https://a.co/d/4p4fs41). Please bring the study as well as your Bible to our first meeting. If you can't afford this book, no worries - just let us know in the registration. Childcare will be offered for the Thursday morning study only.
We are a group of men who meet every Monday evening in person. We slowly make our way through a Bible study or book study, check in with each other, and pray for each other.
Each Wednesday, Cumberland hosts an online prayer meeting at Noon. This time of prayer not only keeps us connected from wherever we are, but it also practices one of the key principals of our faith - an agreement in prayer. Join us every Wednesday to pray!
Come together with your church family to pray. This is a crucial way to stay connected to God and united with each other! We'll have stations with focus areas and sample prayers, where you can go to consider for yourself on areas that you want to pray about. And if you need prayer, this is a great opportunity to get that! Some of the prayer stations might include... • Prayer & Thanksgiving (God alone) • Schools & Children • Building Projects • Jobs/Career • Administration • Leaders • Family • Marriages • Funding/Finances Childcare and special Prayer stations will be provided for babies through 5th Grade - just be sure you hit the link to register by the Monday before.
The "Come As You Are" (CAYA) Young Adult Ministry is a gathering of twenty & thirty somethings is focused on community and growing in scripture together. Each week, you’ll have a safe space to gather and grow - no matter where you are in your faith journey! CAYA meets every Wednesday in the Co-Working space (building 200) at the church. Invite all of your YA friends, and we can’t wait to see you there!
