It symbolizes our willingness to join Jesus in His death - so that we may also join Him in resurrection to new life! The Prayer Closet is a night of prayer and worship where we gather to soak in God's presence and learn how to pray and sing to our Lord without inhibition. There is no set agenda. We are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to direct the flow. We come with a preparedness to pour out our hearts and dive into an amazing time of warring, confessing, thanksgiving, and praising our King!

In our final session, we'll do a bit of summarizing, give families an opportunity to talk together, and discuss some tools for online digital safety as we go into Summer. --- Non-Toxic is a 3-part sexual integrity conversation for Middle & High-Schoolers and their parents. Elevate High School and Encounter Middle School Ministries will collaborate for 3 sessions to lead students and their parents in a series of conversations about sexual integrity. We'll provide students and families with Biblical principles and solutions for having "the talk,” dating, and creating boundaries. THREE SESSIONS: - Jan 26 - Mar 30 - May 4
You may not be able to go on a trip to Kenya, so we want to bring Kenya to you! Join us for an evening of Kenyan food, rich fellowship, and storytelling! Bishop David Thagana, the leader of our missions partner GOA in Kenya, will be joining us for a rare opportunity as he visits the US in May. We'll hear from team members of Cumberland's recent mission trip to Kenya, and you'll learn what God is up to in Kenya from Bishop Thagana! Our partnership with Bishop Thagana and GOA goes back 18 years, and God has done so much good through our relationship. The blessings have been mutual and abundant as God has strengthened our ministries alongside each other over these years.
