Numbers 14:22-23 says, "Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice. Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it.”
Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminds us we must hold on until we experience the blessings of God's promises through scriptures Numbers 14:1-24, Proverbs 14:4, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, and James 1:12-14.
Challenges will always come before the promises of God are received. God may give these challenges as a test to strengthen our faith. While going through our tests, before our promises come to pass, the enemy will tempt us to fall back into our old ways. The book of Numbers tells the story in scriptures 14:21-25, which states that those who presumed on God and revolted against Him, did not enter the promise land. If we want to experience the promises God has given us, we must live according to God's word and walk in the Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by letting us know that we must hold on to our faith in Christ Jesus so that we can become joint heirs to His promise.
