MISSION OUTREACH 

Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Project

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are sent to millions of children in need around the world. These gift-filled boxes become tools for local churches to share God's love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How YOU can become involved:

BRING ITEMS for the boxes that will be packed at CBC

ITEMS INCLUDE: WOW items like Dolls, Stuffed animals, Shoes, Soccer Balls with pumps

Smaller toys: Cars, jump ropes, yo-yos, travel games

Personal Care: Toothbrushes, washcloths, combs, hairbrushes School Supplies: Pens, pencils, sharpener, crayons,

markers, notebook and paper, solar calculators

Other fun items: Socks, t-shirts, jewelry and watches, flashlights with extra batteries

DO NOT

INCLUDE

PACK BOXES at home with family members;

**BE CERTAIN TO INCLUDE A PERSONAL NOTE FOR THE CHILD

Boxes are packed for specific children

Boys: ages 2-4 years OR 5-9 years OR 10-14 Girls: ages 2-4 years OR 5-9 years OR 10-14

DONATE for the shipping costs which are $10 per box

COME TO THE PACKING PARTIES at the CBC Crossing

Saturday, November 9th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

OR

Candy, toothpaste, used or damaged items; scary or war-related items; seeds; food; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items or glass containers; aerosol cans

Tuesday, November 12th from 11:30 am to 2 pm

You come and go to the packing party for as long as you are able

PRAY for the children who will receive the boxes, for the volunteers packing and distributing the boxes, and for many to come to know Jesus as their Savior

ALL ITEMS must be deposited in designated OCC bins in church foyer, by offices

or in the Crossing entry area NO LATER THAN Sunday, NOVEMBER 17th
