GriefShare is a support group designed to help you move through the grief process. In this 13-week group, you'll find a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. You'll discover what is "normal" in grief. But since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you'll learn helpful ways to coping with grief, in all its unpredictability, and gain solid support each step of the way. 10-noon, Tuesdays, Jan 14 - April 9 no cost
Join us for our Women of Grace Breakfast for food, fellowship, sharing and reflection together. We would love to see you there!
Easter is a big deal, so let’s celebrate the Resurrection together! We will have all the fun and games we know and love from GSM (Grace Student Ministries), but with some twists! First off, we're serving food picnic-style, so you can expect some of your favorites :) Second, we invited the worship team to help us glorify God! Third, we added a half hour to our normal time so we can fit in as much excitement as possible. Share the Good News with your friends by inviting them!
Join us for Men's Breakfast this coming Friday at 7am! This is a great to gather together in community and become more like Jesus by studying His Word together with like-minded men!
Join us on April 18th as we remember the greatest sacrifice ever made. Good Friday worship invites us to reflect on the suffering Christ went through for our sake. Reflecting on how much Christ suffered to pay for our sins deepens the joy and gratitude we feel for the gift of new life with Christ that we celebrate on Easter Sunday. We hope you will join us at our southeast Michigan locations at 6:30pm for this special time of worship and reflection.
Join us for Easter Sunday services on April 20th as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and all that it means! Whether you've been celebrating Easter with your family since you can remember or this is your first Easter Sunday service, we know this will be an impactful and fresh look at the true power of the resurrection in our world and our lives today.
On April 26th from 9 AM to 12 PM, GSM (Grace Student Ministries) is partnering with Hesed Community Church! This will be an opportunity for discipleship as students learn how to serve people effectively in the Brightmoor district of Detroit. This will also be great preparation for our Summer Mission Trip when we will be serving the broader community of Detroit :) Service can really start right here in Michigan!
This is a Network event for all men of Grace. The cost is $150 which covers lodging, food and activities. The retreat will be at Somerset Retreat and Camp (south of Jackson) about 1 hour away.
It's time for the Grace Student Ministries End (GSM) of Year Party! Let's celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer with worship, food, and games :) This will be a great way to celebrate the friendships we've made and the work God has done in our lives over the past nine months.
The purpose of this mission trip is to help students step out of their comfort zone, experience a different culture, and serve the community around them. We want to help students see that there are opportunities to partner with God in his mission of restoration and renewal right here in Southeast Michigan. This trip is as much about learning as it is about doing. We will be participating in projects of renewal within the city, but we will also spend time hearing from members of the community and learning about the city of Detroit. We hope that this experience will open the eyes of our students to see how God wants to use them to change the world.
