In this class, we are excited to give you a picture of the important and impactful role you play as parents in your children's lives, as well as, help equip you as parents to assume the primary role in the spiritual development of your children. This class combines up front instruction with meaningful breakout table discussions. This class is also an important part of the process for parents who plan to participate in Parent and Child Dedications. Light refreshments and childcare will be provided.
Easter is a big deal, so let’s celebrate the Resurrection together! We will have all the fun and games we know and love from GSM (Grace Student Ministries), but with some twists! First off, we're serving food picnic-style, so you can expect some of your favorites :) Second, we invited the worship team to help us glorify God! Third, we added a half hour to our normal time so we can fit in as much excitement as possible. Share the Good News with your friends by inviting them!
Join us on April 18th as we remember the greatest sacrifice ever made. Good Friday worship invites us to reflect on the suffering Christ went through for our sake. Reflecting on how much Christ suffered to pay for our sins deepens the joy and gratitude we feel for the gift of new life with Christ that we celebrate on Easter Sunday. We hope you will join us at our southeast Michigan locations at 6:30pm for this special time of worship and reflection.
Join us for Easter Sunday services on April 20th as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and all that it means! Whether you've been celebrating Easter with your family since you can remember or this is your first Easter Sunday service, we know this will be an impactful and fresh look at the true power of the resurrection in our world and our lives today. At Grace Ann Arbor, our three Easter services will start at 8 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11 AM. The 8am service will only have childcare for ages 0-4 years, with the two later services offering our full GraceKids programming for kids from 6 weeks old through 5th grade.
On April 26th from 9 AM to 12 PM, GSM (Grace Student Ministries) is partnering with Hesed Community Church! This will be an opportunity for discipleship as students learn how to serve people effectively in the Brightmoor district of Detroit. This will also be great preparation for our Summer Mission Trip when we will be serving the broader community of Detroit :) Service can really start right here in Michigan!
Our next Parent & Child Dedication will be on April 27th. Parent & Child Dedication is a promise that parents make before God, their family, and the church to raise their child in the Christian faith. It is also a promise from the congregation that as their church family, we will support the parents while they raise their child. As a first step in participating in dedication at Grace we ask you to attend the "Raising Your Child in Faith" class. The next "Raising Your Child in Faith" class will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 9-11:30 a.m. Sign up for the class on our website events page.
Join us on May the 4th for our Star Wars themed end-of-year party at Grace Ann Arbor! After second service, we will be celebrating our grads and the start of summer with pizza, cake, and fun together with other young professionals here at Grace. Hope you can join us!
This is a Network event for all men of Grace. The cost is $150 which covers lodging, food and activities. The retreat will be at Somerset Retreat and Camp (south of Jackson) about 1 hour away.
It's time for the Grace Student Ministries End (GSM) of Year Party! Let's celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer with worship, food, and games :) This will be a great way to celebrate the friendships we've made and the work God has done in our lives over the past nine months.
The purpose of this mission trip is to help students step out of their comfort zone, experience a different culture, and serve the community around them. We want to help students see that there are opportunities to partner with God in his mission of restoration and renewal right here in Southeast Michigan. This trip is as much about learning as it is about doing. We will be participating in projects of renewal within the city, but we will also spend time hearing from members of the community and learning about the city of Detroit. We hope that this experience will open the eyes of our students to see how God wants to use them to change the world.
