August 13, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 20:19–31

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
August 6, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 20:11–18
It’s been said that one of the greatest words you can speak to another person is their name. Mary Magdalene would most assuredly agree! Why? Because she was overtaken by grief at the tomb of Jesus. She thought His body had been taken, but it hadn’t. Jesus had risen and to prove it, He appeared to Mary Magdalene first. What a privilege! But, she didn’t realize it was Jesus speaking to her until he said one word: “Mary.” Then she knew! You know, Jesus speaks your name too. He loves you and died for you. Are you listening for your name? Join us as “Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene.”
Jesus’ Death and Resurrection
July 30, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 19:31—20:10
We’re all going to die. Do you agree? Yes, short of Jesus’ return, death will come to us all. So, how do you feel about that? Are you prepared for death? Does it scare you? Are you concerned? When Jesus died on the cross and was buried, it seemed Death and Satan had won. However, Jesus did what humans can’t do: He took His life back up again by rising from the dead. The significance of that is this: He showed us the way to conquer the sting of Death. Join us and be encouraged, as we see the pinnacle of our faith: “Death and Resurrection.”
Jesus, From Death to Resurrection
July 16, 2023 • Dale Jennings • John 18:38—19:16
Romans 3:23, says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!" Meaning, we are all guilty of the sin we have committed against God. We deserve the just punishment from God for our sin. Jesus stood before Pilate as an innocent man! Innocent before God and innocent of all the charges the Pharisees accused him of. Pilate tried his best to set Jesus free, but you see, Pilate, nor the Pharisees were in control of the situation. Jesus came for a purpose! Join us as we begin to look at Jesus' purpose of Death to Resurrection!
Denial and a Rooster
July 2, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 18:12–27
Can you imagine being reminded of your past failure every day? For Peter, every morning after his denial of Jesus, he was greeted with a rooster crowing…announcing his failure. Or could it be that Peter would instead be drawn to the seashore of Galilee where Jesus restored him, therefore remembering the Lord’s grace and mercy, instead of failure. You know we have a choice too. Either wallow in our past failures or come to Jesus in repentance and be restored. Join us as we see “Denial and a Rooster,” and how Peter’s example can instruct us and challenge us.
Jesus Betrayed
June 25, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 18:1–11

Join us as we begin a new series: “Jesus Betrayed,” and see the love of Jesus in the midst of betrayal.

June 11, 2023 • Tim Miller • John 17:13–19

His words have the power to change you. Join us as we see how Jesus’ heart burns for you to know that God’s Word is truth.
God’s Name Known
June 4, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 17:6–12
Why did Jesus come to this earth? You say, “To save sinners.” Yes, that’s correct, but He also came to do more. Jesus came to make God, His Father, known to those who would trust in Him. He came to make God known, so that we could enter God’s presence and have fellowship with Him. For many, they only know “about” God. They know facts about Him, but don’t know Him in a personal way. Jesus came to change that. Join us as we see the joy of “God’s Name Known.”

From Sorrow to Joy
May 14, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 16:16–22
“No one will take your joy from you.” Oh, what comforting words Jesus offered to His disciples as they were headed to Gethsemane and immense sorrow and pain. Jesus was preparing them for heartache by reminding them that pain and sorrow will not last. Maybe that’s you. You are suffering in pain and sorrow today, but there is joy in Jesus when we trust Him in the midst of our trials. Join us as we are comforted by the words of Jesus as we see: “From Sorrow to Joy.”
The Holy Spirit Reveals All Truth
May 7, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 16:12–15
Truth. What a precious thing! In a world full of lies, it’s wonderful when we see and hear the truth. Jesus told His Apostles that He would send the Holy Sprit to “reveal all truth.” The Holy Spirit did exactly that as He used 40 authors to scribe the words of God, all truth, to humanity. However, there is a major battle raging even now in Christendom about how to interpret the Bible in regards to hot-button issues. Are we to look to the pages of Scripture to guide us or should we trust what we feel? Join us as we see: “The Holy Spirit Reveals All Truth.”
The Role of the Holy Spirit
April 30, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • John 16:8–11
There are many misconceptions today about the Holy Spirit and who He is. The Holy Spirit is not an “it” and the Holy Spirit is not a “force.” The Holy Spirit is a “He,” and He is the Third Person of God. He has distinct roles, just as Jesus does and the Father does. Join us as we begin a new series titled: “The Role of the Holy Spirit,” and we learn how the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

Join us as we seek the help of the Holy Spirit to make us bolder and stronger witnesses for Jesus.
