February 18, 2024 • D. Kevin Brown • Daniel 5
We all know that when someone says, “The handwriting is on the wall,” that the end is near. That was the case for King Belshazzar. February 4, 2024 • D. Kevin Brown • Daniel 3
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were told to bend the knee to Nebuchadnezzar’s image of gold. They refused and were thrown into a fiery furnace. We all know the story. But do we really understand the courage it took to be willing to die when it would have been so easy to make excuses and do what they were told. Today, there are many “powers that be” seeking to make Christians bend their knee to their dictates. Will we go the way of the three brave men or cave to the pressure? Join us as we build our minds and spirits to bow only to Jesus.

The Rise and Fall of Nations - Part 1
January 21, 2024 • D. Kevin Brown • Daniel 2:31–43
No one could interpret King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream except for Daniel. Daniel revealed to the King that his dream was the revelation of the rise and fall of nations that would ultimately lead to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and His Millennial Kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar would learn that it’s the God of the Heavens who controls all future events. Now, we’ll be reminded that as nations rise and fall, those nations include people. People like you and me. For those who don’t follow God, their “kingdom” will fall. However, for the believer, we can celebrate and not worry about what the future holds, because we know the One who holds the future.

Faithfulness in a World of Compromise
January 7, 2024 • D. Kevin Brown • Daniel 1:9–21
Compromise is a slow fade. Like a sunset…it seems slow…yet, it’s dark before you know it. Today, people claim convictions about sin until that sin is committed by their own children. People say they must speak out about dishonesty and corruption until it refers to their boss and might cause them their job. Is it true that: “Every man has his price?” Well, not so for Daniel. He was uncompromising. Come what may, he showed tremendous faith as he offered a test to prove his faithfulness to God. Join us as we see: “Faithfulness in a World of Compromise.”
