The edict of the king to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all Jews in one day had now gone out into all the king’s provinces in Persia. This edict was so overtly evil that it would almost be hard to believe it actually happened if we hadn’t seen similar plots to exterminate the Jews in our own day and age. Whether she knew it or not, God had placed Esther in exactly the right position at exactly the right moment to intervene and stop this diabolical plot.
