Do All Paths Lead To God?

There are no shortage of opinions surrounding who God is, and how to get to Him. Some would say that there are many ways to earn God's favor, while Jesus made the claim that He is the only way. Could Jesus have been wrong? If He's not wrong, then what happens to those who follow different paths? ALPHA AT THE HEIGHTS We believe everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring these Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question and is designed to create open conversation. Why Does God Allow So Much Suffering?

The author & philosopher Sam Harris made this strong statement after the earthquake and subsequent Tsunami that rocked Japan in 2011. “Either God can do nothing to stop catastrophes like this, or he doesn't care to, or he doesn’t exist. God is either impotent, evil, or imaginary. Take your pick, and choose wisely.” Could he be right? Why would a loving God allow so much suffering?
