The Great Commission / Sermon Only
April 14, 2024 • Tyler Hensley
Does the great commission and the call to be a disciple change the way I live? The invitation of Jesus is to: acknowledge his authority, step out in obedience to be a disciple of Jesus, and to invite others to follow you as you follow after Jesus.
One Year From Now / Sermon Only
December 31, 2023 • Tyler Hensley
A new year brings with it times of reflection and change. We often make resolutions out of places we felt we were lacking in the previous year. What if instead of focusing on what didn’t happen, what if we focused on what did happen - specifically what God did in 2023? How can we remember all God has done and pass these truths on to future generations?

When I Think of All This / Sermon Only
October 9, 2022 • Tyler Hensley • Ephesians 3:14–21
We've reached the halfway point in our study of the letter of Ephesians. Halfway through this letter Paul stops to pray out of a response of all that God has done. Paul's desire was for the church in Ephesus to know & experience the love and power that comes from God. God's desire is for you to be rooted in Him and for Christ to make his home in our hearts. Will you surrender and know him in prayer?

The author of Hebrews makes the case throughout this letter that Jesus is greater than all that has come before him. If he really is greater than the old covenant, animal sacrifices, the prophets, etc - then what does that mean for me today? Because of Jesus's blood, we can enter into God's presence.

What are the key moments in your life? Abraham went by faith when God called him to go, he trusted God would provide a son through Sarah, and he surrendered his son, Isaac, to God. Even though he made mistakes along the way, God was still faithful, even though Abraham wasn’t. His mistakes don’t define his story, they’re just a part of God’s redemptive work in his life.
