High School Students (those who have completed 9th grade) and up to those who have just graduated are invited to serve on the Red Bird Mission Trip this summer!

Red Bird Mission was founded in 1921 in the southeastern corner of Kentucky to provide education and Christian evangelism ministries to residents of the area. The Mission was started by the Evangelical Church on a small piece of property at the confluence of Cow Fork and the Red Bird River.

The story of Red Bird is one of deep faith in God. Red Bird Mission was born in answer to prayer. It is a story of gracious outpouring of prayer and means by the church.

Building healthy, sustainable communities in the

mountains of southeastern Kentucky.

The need remains critical in this isolated, rural distressed area. Chronic poverty, lack of jobs, poor housing, and rugged mountainous terrain provide obstacles to a fuller life for the residents of this area. Red Bird Mission and Clinic strives to meet these needs through ministry programs.

It's hard to know exactly what our team will be doing that week, but in the past we have helped fixing homes, painting, light construction, and more.

***TIMES***

Meet at 6:30 am on Sunday, June 29th. We will depart at 6:45 am. We will arrive home around 8:00 pm on Friday.

***COST***

$280 (Total cost is $560 and TMC pays half of each student fee for the trip)
