Back To School: Peace
August 31, 2024 • Pastor Doyle Jackson • Romans 6:23, Psalm 130, Romans 5:1–2, Exodus 21:22–24, John 6
There is a huge difference between what we deserve and what God gives us. As we start this new season let’s make sure we know what God has put in our account. “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!” Romans 5:17 Come to receive the gift of peace this weekend. God has provided us an abundance of provision in Christ. Psalm 51:1—2 (NASB) Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly (abundantly) from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin. Jesus work on the cross gives us more than enough to make us whole as well as welcome us into a relationship with God.

Let's talk about the inheritance that we can all claim...especially those of us raising the next generation. Listen to the voices of experience that we are blessed to have to guide us as we build relationships not only with our children and grandchildren but with the Lord.
