We all want the best. We want God's best too. The question becomes are we willing to give God our best. The Bible reveals again and again the widow as someone he loves and gives His best. He asks His people to care for the widow and the orphan. In the process He watches to see the heart of the widow, the orphan and all of us. God sets the standard of faith again and again in the life of the widows of scripture. Jesus shows great compassion and mercy, setting and example for you and I.
