Registration is now open for this new course, beginning January 5th, and lasting 13 weeks into late April. Jesus spoke to his disciples while on earth, specifically on How to Pray. Great teachers like R.C.Sproul, Alistair Begg, Albert Mohler, and Tim Keller will lead us along with historic writings and questions from Martin Luther each bring a unique perspective from Luke 11 and Matthew 6 on How to Pray. Our weekly lessons include content teaching, quizzes, discussion and reflection questions, praise songs, and prayer guidance. Online work will take 90 minutes each week, and we will gather once a month in person for workshop style discussions.
Are you looking to meet others at PCC or enjoy some time with new and old friends over a meal? Every first Sunday, we host Got Lunch Gatherings for people in our community to come together for food and conversation. Plan to join others for lunch after church this Sunday. Visit the Welcome Table after the service to get the address for the lunch. We hope you join us!
Join HFLA at Turning Point Shelter for our monthly Ice Cream Social. We will be prepping sundae bar toppings and serving ice cream to the residents. We'll then sit down with them, eat a sundae, listen to their stories, share your own, and build friendships. If you want to bring homemade cookies or brownies or a card game to play... that's always fun, but not a necessity! We are looking for 15 people to serve. Please click the button to REGISTER to volunteer for this event.
Are you looking for a tangible way to serve the marginalized people in our city? We have a group, led by Winnie Yu, that prepares and serves dinner to the residents at West LA PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) on the third Saturday of every month. We need six volunteers each month to come out and serve at PATH, but we have had a hard time filling these volunteer slots. Will you consider volunteering? Click the button below to register for to serve dinner at PATH. Email Winnie Yu for more information.
