Sign up to volunteer at our Buck Fifty checkpoint April 10-12!
Each year we make food, pass out refreshments and cheer on the Buck Fifty runners. Join us for a great opportunity to serve and have a fun time!
Feel free to come and spend the entire night at the checkpoint! Parking is limited, so we are encouraging volunteers to meet at the church and carpool as much as possible. It is a 30 – 35 minute drive following the directions below. Please note GPS will not work and there is no cell phone service.
When you arrive at the site, please check in at the shelter house and sign a waiver\release form.
Please bring flashlights/headlamps/lanterns and wear bright & if possible reflective clothing. Watch the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Please bring cowbells, noisemakers, signs, anything to cheer and motivate the runners as they finish their 6 mile climb up to our checkpoint and the runners getting ready to start their next leg of the race through the hills of Tar Hollow.
