This series will seek to help companion our congregation in acknowledging the grief, uncertainty, and loss we might feel, while also pointing to all the ways God provides vision and hope for the future. Starting in the Old Testament we will remember the stories of the Israelites being on the move, and against their will with the fall of the Temple and exile into Babylon. And yet, God's not done stirring up dreams for the future. Later in the New Testament we will focus on Jesus' heartbreak for the struggles of humanity, encouraging our congregation lean into our call to compassion for those who suffer in the world and connect our calling into God's dream- to bring healing and hope to those who suffer. The goal of the series to to yes acknowledge that we're going through some tough stuff internally, and yet the way through it is to focus our energy and hope on our calling in the external world.
