This class helps the student gain an understanding of the book of Galatians. The theological issues addressed in the book are intensely engaged by the apostle Paul because nothing less than belief in the right gospel was at stake. Furthermore, genuine fellowship among Christians was threatened by legalism. Paul wrote this book to protect the gospel and God’s people. Since the theological and practical issues in the book are perennially important, this class will make application of them to our lives today so that we might practice “faith working through love” (Gal 5:6). See Pastor Matt Harkey for more information.
