Acts 2:12-39

This sermon explores Peter’s bold gospel message on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. After the Holy Spirit descended and the disciples spoke in various languages, Peter addressed the crowd—explaining that this was the fulfillment of prophecy and proclaiming Jesus as the crucified and risen Messiah.

Peter declared that Jesus’ miracles proved He is the Son of God, His death was God’s plan for our salvation, and His resurrection was witnessed and confirmed by the Holy Spirit. When the people were “cut to the heart,” Peter called them to repent, believe, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit.

A powerful reminder to find our true identity in Christ alone.
