Sharing the Gospel

Acts 3:11-26

March 1, 2026 • Pastor Jim McCarty • Acts 3:11–26

This sermon focuses on Peter's gospel presentation in Acts 3 after healing a crippled man at the temple. Pastor Jim uses Peter's message to teach six key principles for sharing the gospel: discussing proofs for God's existence, directing attention to God rather than ourselves, explaining Jesus Christ clearly, addressing sin directly, and calling people to repent and believe. Peter boldly confronts the crowd about their role in crucifying Jesus while offering hope through repentance and faith. The sermon emphasizes that sharing the gospel isn't about us but about helping people understand God's power, Jesus's identity as the holy and righteous one, their need for forgiveness, and the transformation that comes through salvation.
