United Adoration and Apostles Anglican Church invite you to an in-person Visual Arts Retreat September 15-16 on the theme of Advent! This retreat is designed to create a sacred space where visual artists of any medium can come together for a dedicated time of creativity, collaboration, fun, and encouragement. We believe that when we gather to worship and create, the Holy Spirit does deep work in our souls, so we intentionally leave time during the retreat for the Holy Spirit to care for the soul of the artist. Our theme this time is "Advent: Waiting on the Lord". Be mindful that we would love to display the art we create this weekend in the narthex (foyer) wall during the Advent season. This display has been such a blessing to Apostles. Bring whatever materials you need to create your art. Some canvases and paints will be available if you are an artist who isn't quite sure what to create and willing to just see what happens!
