When Heaven Invades Earth (Part 4)
August 19, 2018 • Dale Shillington • 1 Samuel 14:1–23
Part 4 of the series “A Mighty Act of God at Michmash." The words of Jonathan to his armor-bearer are still true today: "nothing can hinder the LORD from saving by many or by few". (vs.6) The Bible assumes a supernatural worldview, that there is an unseen real that is actually more real and more ultimate than the seen real. If the Lord saved Israel on that day (vs.23), then heaven can invade earth today. God wants to give convincing proof of His love and greatness to every generation, so that there will be faith on the earth.
The Source of Scripture
April 29, 2018 • Ryan Radford • 2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 95
This message looks at the root source of where Scripture comes from. We take an in-depth look at the peculiar word “Theopneustos”, then dive into the implications of various views people take on truth. What we believe about Scriptures has immediate and eternal consequences for our lives. We attempt to engage the question “Do we believe what we say we believe is really real?”
